OK found the ovulation occur mid-cycle? I think that is correct. Another words we say 5 days before my period. . I should not ovulating? Thank you for all honest answers!

Yes. Assuming you have the average 28 day cycle and your hormonal balance is average too. I don’t know about 5 days before your period though. That would depend on how long your menstruation lasts. If you count the first day of your period as day 1 then day 14 should be your ovulation day. You should know if you are trying to conceive, sperm needs to be already present in your body BEFORE this ovulation day on the 14th day since it takes the “swimmers” a whole day to reach the egg.
If your cycle is fairly regular, you can use an online ovulation calculator to find your ovulation date. Simply put in your cycle length and the first day of your last period, and the tool will tell you when your next ovulation day will be.
