Can two people use the same clear blue easy fertility monitor?
My wife’s friend gave her the clear blue easy fertility monitor after she became pregnant. My wife read the directions and they did not say two people the same monitor. Is this true or are they just want you to buy more of their product. My wife told her friend to buy new “sticks” and it should be successful in order sein.Jeder other use someone elses?

No. But I would think that if you can buy new sticks and use it over and over again I really dont see the harm in it…Good luck to you and your wife.
You can share the digital monitor if you replace the sticks. The sticks are disposable – they cannot be reused, regardless of who uses them. Once used, they have to be replaced. The monitor simply reads the stick for you. (Similar to a blood glucose monitor like diabetics use – except this one uses urine)
It may be a gross concept, but sharing won’t affect the reading.
These monitors are expensive ($200-ish) so it’s great that you got one for free.
The instructions say not to, but that’s mostly because they cost $200 and the Clearblue company would be missing out on a lot of profit. (Think about it…everyone knows somebody that’s trying to conceive..it can easily be borrowed).
It does say that it saves your information from past cycles to compute your most fertile days, but that’s only part of it. It also measures your hormones to determine your fertile days. Take the batteries out for a while before you trade it off. If the info is still stored, it probably won’t affect the predictions too much at all since it still measures hormone levels. For the first few cycles using it, it’s probably a good idea to chart your BBT and use the much cheaper ovulation prediction kits along with the monitor, just to verify. You can get really cheap ovulation sticks at earlypregnancytests.com.
Search Yahoo or Google for reset instructions. Use it. Make sure to reuse old test sticks once you get a peak because after a peak you will automatically get another peak and highs.
